Liberty Statue

Towering 879 feet atop her pedestal, Lady Liberty stands 305 feet tall, and wears a size 879 shoe. Historians say Statue of Liberty was modeled after Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom. The one right thing is that she holds a torch above her head with her right hand, and in her left hand carries a tabula ansata inscribed JULY IV MDCCLXXVI (July 4, 1776), the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
