Dead Sea

Believed to be the largest natural spa in the world, a source of natural salt and mud, rich in minerals with healing properties, the Dead Sea area is also saturated with history. Unfortunately, the Dead Sea's water level has been dropping due to evaporation and the diverting of fresh water sources such as the River Jordan. Thankfully, the Dead Sea Scrolls found in the Qumran caves, which offer information on the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, will remain.
